Webster Five Cents Savings Bank was established in 1868. In 1995, the bank established the Webster Five Foundation, a non-profit corporate foundation. It is funded entirely by the bank for the specific purpose of making charitable contributions for youth and senior services, health and social service, charitable activities and other programs that impact the needs of its communities. The bank also participates in the state s Saving Makes Cents program, a school-banking program developed to teach the ABCs of money management skills to elementary school children. This bank is alright. The people there aren't as friendly as my hometown bank. I don't mind the bank, but it's not my favorite.
