Place to AVOID: Bad food, worse service

This is one corner in Old Mystic Village to avoid. The restaurant looks inviting from the outside but, looks can be and are (in this case) deceiving. The lady behind the counter acted annoyed when we changed one sandwich on our order from a hamburger to a meatball sub. When our order was served, we were one sandwich short. We informed the server, who returned 10 minutes later with the missing sandwich and another receipt, saying we weren't charged for the sandwich. We told the server that we were charged for 2 sandwiches but only got one, which she'd just served. She just walked away! The meatball sandwiches were basic and low on taste, the fries were greasy and miserable and the NE clam chowder soup was obviously from a can and very bland. After we finished and completed our shopping and were preparing to leave, the so-called "owner", the very, unprofessional, snooty and obnoxious woman, approached me and yelled out, that I'd been dishonest and had not paid. Mind you, she did this in public and nearly 2 hours after the fact! You must order and pay for everything up front. We confirmed that she was wrong, and tried to double charge us for the meatball sub! She still wanted to call security to have us removed from the entire Mystic Village area! She ended up leaving, very annoyed, when she couldn't get her deceitful way. Unbelievable that this place is still in business! Bad service, bad food and bad owners are a recipe for failure. Is it a wonder that the place is/was reportedly for sale? Please go to some other restaurant and "save" yourself on heachaches and dishonest business practice. This place just isn't worth the time or money.
Pros: Restaurant looks inviting from the outside
Cons: Everything else!

Looks nice enough - typical fast food, burgers, dogs, fried food. The order however was wrong and the man acted irritated that we wanted the sandwich made the way it was ordered. Chowder from a can was poor. Greasy burger with little to dress it up. Over $6 for a hot dog and chips for the kids. Lattes are powdered mixes from a convenience store type of machine. I passed on that!
Pros: None
Cons: Bad Food, Expensive , Bad service
